Despite IRCC’s efforts to reduce application backlogs, Canada’s visitor visa processing times remain inconsistent across regions. As of late August 2025, applicants from India face a wait of around 45 days, while those applying within Canada for a visitor visa extension are experiencing delays of nearly 183 days.
