IELTS General Training is an English proficiency test that is required to be taken by those who aim to migrate to English-speaking countries like the Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. It is also opted for by those who want to study any course lower than the undergraduate level in countries like Canada, the USA, and the UK. IELTS General Training is thus, an important proficiency test conducted by IDP: IELTS Australia in India.
The IELTS General Training exam is suitable for people who are planning to study or train at below degree level, or who are seeking professional registration in an English-speaking environment. If you are planning to study or train at degree level or above, you should take the IELTS Academic test.
IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System
IELTS is required to be taken by international students and workers who wish to study or work in a country where English is the primary language of communication. The United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Canada are the most prevalent nations where IELTS is recognized for university applications. The four major English language competencies assessed by the exam are listening, reading, speaking, and writing.
IELTS GENERAL TEST PACKAGE (NO LIVE LECTURES)
IELTS results are represented as band scores on a scale ranging from 1 (the lowest) to 9 (the highest). A score is given for each test component – Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. These individual scores are then averaged and rounded to produce an overall band score.
